Affinity Water has joined up with Mad Science to help children learn about the science of saving water in the home and why it’s so important. Mad Science have been visiting schools last term, putting on interactive and engaging experiments to show children how much fun saving water can be!
Mad Science has been delivering unique, hands-on, educational and entertaining science experiments to children for more than 30 years! The mad scientists have been working closely with Affinity Water’s Education team to put together ‘ACTION H20’ a fun water saving themed show, which has visited 35 schools so far, and engaging over 9,000 students. More shows will be taking place at schools within Affinity Water’s Water Saving Programme area.
Aimee Jacobs, Managing Director of Mad Science for Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire said: “We’ve had so much fun and learned so much from working with the Affinity Water team throughout the process of designing the ACTION H20 show. We know the children will enjoy themselves and feel very empowered by the simple tricks they learn during this exciting ACTION (H20) packed show!”
Melissa Painter, Water Saving Programme Education Manager said: “Mad Science has really brought to life the importance of saving water in a fun, engaging and memorable way.
